On-Road Engines

The "On-road engines" category consists of compression-ignition engines (i.e. diesel engines) that are found in a wide variety of on-road applications such as transit bus systems and public fleet trucks. Some familiar examples include long haul trucks, school buses, transit buses, street sweepers, refuse trucks, and utility trucks.

On-road engine mitigation measures are compiled in Table IV. A summary describing the type of information provided in Table IV and how to use the data to quantify emission reductions from on-road engines can be viewed by clicking the "Overview - On-Road Engines Mitigation Measure Table" link below.
