Where:
Riverside County Supervisor’s Board Room

The South Coast Air Quality Management District is actively seeking ways
to help gasoline dispensing facilities operating within our jurisdiction to
comply with State of California Phase II Enhanced
Vapor Recovery upgrade requirements.
Come to our Riverside conference on April 2nd to learn how to avoid
delays in the upgrades. Our goals for the conference are to:
-
Inform the
regulated public of the requirements
-
Provide you
with the available options for equipment and financing
-
Share ideas
that will ensure the permitting process goes smoothly
We held a similar public conference at our Diamond Bar facility on February 14,
2008. At that conference, representatives from manufacturers of Phase II EVR
equipment, the California Service Station and
Auto Repair Association, and government agencies such as California Air
Resources Board (CARB) and California Certified Unified Program Agencies (CUPA)
came to provide information on the requirements
of the law, financing options, equipment availability, and other topics. We
noticed that most of the attendees came from Los Angeles county and the
surrounding areas.
We are holding another conference in Riverside on Wednesday evening,
April 2, 2008 to make this conference more accessible and convenient to the
San Bernardino and Riverside counties’ business owners. In addition to
summarizing the information presented at the previous conference, the recent
amendments to AQMD Rules governing operations at GDFs will be presented.
This conference is FREE, but due to limited space, pre-registration is
required. We need to hear from you by Friday, March 28, 2008. To register
for this event and secure a seat:
- Send an
e-mail with your name, company name, telephone number
and e-mail address; or
- Contact Evangelina Barrera at (909) 396-2583.
