Compliance Training Class:
Rule 461 Tester Orientation

 

Regular testing of a gasoline dispensing facility's vapor recovery system ensures its proper operation and compliance with applicable CARB Executive Orders.  Individuals must first complete this orientation training prior to conducting any testing in the AQMD.  Subjects covered during this training include: CARB test procedures 201.3, 201.4, 201.5 and 201.6; EVR test procedures; testing equipment; and Rule 461 requirements for testing (notification and reporting).  Upon completion of this course, participants will be issued identification cards and will be authorized to conduct testing at any facility within the AQMD.

Registration:

  • Pre-registration is required to attend this training;  submit a completed registration form (PDF 223 K) via US Mail with a check or money order, payable to SCAQMD.
  • No walk-in registrations
  • Class fee is $142.67 per person.

Class Information:

  • This one-day class meets at AQMD headquarters (Room CC-6)
    from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Check-in time is from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.
