The goal of this "Certified
Person" (pdf 131Kb) training program is to train and certify individuals that will assist industry in
maintaining compliance with applicable AQMD rule requirements and permit
conditions through the timely identification, reporting, and correction
of equipment deficiencies.
Registration:
- Pre-registration is required to attend this training; no walk-in
registrations.

- Company telephone number
- Company fax number
- E-mail address
- The date of the course being requested
- Class fee is $125 per person, $50 for recertification and is payable by cash or check to SCAQMD between 7:30 – 8:00
a.m. on the first day of the class
Class Information:
- This course is offered at AQMD headquarters in conference room
CC-6 from 8:00 a.m. to
4:00 p.m. on the first day and 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the second
day.
- Course content includes
Rule 463–Storage of Organic Liquids
(pdf 96.4 kb) and a brief introduction to
Rule 1178-Further Reductions
of VOC Emissions
from Storage Tanks at Petroleum Facilities* (pdf 104 kb).
- A minimum score of 85% on the exam is required to qualify for Rule
463 certification.

part of the Rule 463 certification process.
