Several organizations train individuals to prepare applications for AQMD
permits. AQMD certifies those who successfully pass a written exam as
Certified Permitting Professionals (CPP). As part of the services provided
to CPPs, the AQMD has set up a Data Access System to enable CPPs to connect
to AQMD's computer system and directly obtain data and information about the
facilities for which they are preparing applications.
A Certified Permitting Professional will be allowed access to the data for a
company ONLY if that company has provided written authorization for that CPP
to gain access. The request should be on the company’s letterhead and signed
by an authorized representative. Each granted access is valid for 1
year. The letter could be faxed to (909) 396-3842 or mailed to:

The login procedure for the Data Access System has changed. You will
initially be required to create a user ID and register, and a password will
