Student's Health

The AQMD Student's Health Web Site is a resource for high school students and adults to learn about the health effects of air pollution, particularly as they relate to children in Southern California.

Everyone suffers from air pollution, but children are particularly vulnerable because they spend more time outdoors, are more active and their bodies are still developing.

• Dirty Air: The Health Effects of Air Pollution - A brochure on air pollution which has the Air Quality Index.  The Air Quality Index is used to to tell the people about the air. It is a quick way to tell people how good or bad the air is.
