Recordkeeping for Locomotive Idling
Proposed rule will require railroads to record idling events to
identify opportunities for reducing idling emissions and to assist the
District to quantify idling emissions. |

Minimization of Emissions from Locomotive Idling
Proposed rule will require all Class I freight railroads, and
switching and terminal freight railroads operating in the Basin to
minimize emissions from continuous idling of a locomotive. |

Update on Project Funding Ideas regarding $6 million set aside from
the BP settlement monies. Over 100 project ideas have been received
from the public and the business community to help improve air

(Govt. Code Section 54954.3). All agendas for regular meetings are
posted at District Headquarters, 21865 Copley Drive, Diamond Bar,
California, at least 72 hours in advance of a regular meeting. At the
end of the regular meeting agenda, an opportunity is also provided for the
public to speak on any subject within this body’s authority. Speakers
may be limited to three (3) minutes each.
