Update on 2007 Air Quality Management Plan
The AQMP is designed to meet both state and federal Clean
Air Act requirements for all areas under District jurisdiction.
It addresses all criteria pollutants, including PM10, PM2.5,
ozone, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen dioxide. Staff will provide an
update on the AQMP development process.

Update on Carl Moyer Fleet Modernization Program
Staff will provide an update on $6 million funding
opportunity for
truck owners/operators to purchase new, lower emission heavy-duty trucks
to replace pre-1990
heavy-duty diesel trucks.

Status Report on AQMD’s Air Quality Institute Program
AQMD recently held the first of eight Air Quality Institute sessions.
This item will provide an update on this program which includes
conducting education and outreach
on air quality to officials,
policymakers, and community organizations. |

posted at District Headquarters, 21865 Copley Drive, Diamond Bar,
California, at least 72 hours in advance of a regular meeting. At the
end of the regular meeting agenda, an opportunity is also provided for the
public to speak on any subject within this body’s authority. Speakers
may be limited to three (3) minutes each.
