Transfer Funds
and Amend Contracts to Conduct Additional 2011 Lawn Mower Exchange
Events and Execute Contract to Conduct Pilot Study for Use of Electric
Lawn and Garden Equipment
At its March 4, 2011 meeting, the Board approved contracts for the 2011
Lawn Mower Exchange Program. This
action is to transfer a total of $63,000 from Rule 1309.1 Priority
Reserve Fund to the Air Quality Investment Fund (27) and the Science and
Technology Advancement FY 2011-12 Budget to conduct additional Lawn
Mower Exchange events. The other
action is to conduct a pilot study for the use of zero emission lawn and
garden equipment in the City of Santa Monica in an amount not to exceed
$17,525.
