Execute Contracts for CEQA Consultant Assistance
Staff will discuss the two proposals that were received to
secure assistance with preparing the Program Environmental
Impact Report (PEIR) for the 2007 Air Quality Management
Plan and other CEQA projects including updating the AQMD’s
CEQA Air Quality Handbook.

Authorize Execution of Memorandum of Understanding
between Member Agencies of the Coachella Valley Association of Governments and the South Coast Air Quality Management District

Report on
Coachella Valley Dust Control Agreement.  Staff
will
provide an update on the formal agreement between member jurisdictions of the Coachella Valley Association of
Governments and AQMD on dust control responsibilities.

AQMS Pilot Test Program
At the June 24, 2005 Mobile Source Committee meeting,
staff proposed the implementation of a pilot test program
by AQMS-Automotive, LLC for a six month period that would
allow the
storage of vehicles prior to a specified vehicle
buyback date.  The pilot program was approved by the
committee and authorization to conduct the test program
was subsequently given by District Counsel on October 12,
2005. Staff is presenting their findings following a six
month trial period and staff recommends a continuation of
the program on a permanent basis.
