Proposed Rule 314 - Fees for
Architectural Coatings

Proposed Rule 314 is a new rule that implements a fee program to recover
the AQMD cost of the architectural coating program from architectural
coating manufacturers. Staff will brief the Committee on the
amendments to the proposal since the rule was set for hearing resulting
in a postponement of the public hearing from May 2 to June 6. |

Nitrogen from Industrial, Institutional, and Commercial Boilers, Steam
Generators, and Process Heaters and Rule 1146.1 - Emissions of Oxides of
Nitrogen from Small Industrial, Institutional, and Commercial Boilers,
Steam Generators, and Process Heaters (15 mins.)
Amendments to Rule 1146 and 1146.1 are proposed to reduce daily NOx
emissions by lowering boiler and heater NOx emissions limits. |

Public Comment Period
Members of the public may address this body concerning any agenda item
before or during consideration of that item (Govt. Code Section 54954.3(a)).
All agendas for regular meetings are posted at District Headquarters, 21865
Copley Drive, Diamond Bar, California, at least 72 hours in advance of a
regular meeting. At the end of the regular meeting agenda, an opportunity is
also provided for the public to speak on any subject within the
Stationary Source Committee's authority. Speakers may be limited to three
(3) minutes each.

The agenda and documents in the agenda packet will be made available, upon
request, in appropriate alternative formats to assist persons with a
disability (Gov’t Code Section 54954.2(a)). Disability-related
