The purpose of the proposed amendments is to harmonize the Best
Available Control Technology requirements for attainment and
non-attainment pollutants for both New Source Review and Prevention of
Significant Deterioration programs, and to clarify that facilities that
are in compliance or on an approved schedule for compliance with all
applicable District Rules and Regulations may be issued permits in
accordance with Regulation XIII.

This item was requested by Mayor Yates in order to provide a background
on the AirLogix's LNG-Fired IC Engines proposed to be used at the Ports
