Amend Rule 1171 - Solvent Cleaning
Operations and Rule 1122 - Solvent Degreasers (10 mins.)
The proposed amendments will extend the compliance date for the use of
low-VOC solvents for clean-up of lithographic ultraviolet/electron beam
(UV/EB) ink application equipment and on-press screens in screen
printing. Staff's proposal also includes an exemption for
stereolithography equipment and other clarifying language in Rules 1171
and 1122. |

Proposed Amended Rule (PAR) 1138 -
Control of Emissions from Restaurant Operations (10 mins.)
Rule 1138 was adopted in November 1997, and has reduced 0.5 tpd PM2.5
with the installation of catalysts on ~800 chain driven charbroilers.
PAR 1138 would add under-fired charbroilers to the rule. |

Status Update on Adding Controls to
Gasoline Dispensing Facilities for Phase II Enhanced Vapor Recovery
Systems (10 mins.)
This item is prepared at the request of Board Member Carney for staff to
report to Stationary Source Committee the status of upgrading gasoline
dispensing facilities (GDFs) to add controls for Phase II Enhanced Vapor
Recovery (EVR) Systems. California state laws and District Rule
461 - Gasoline Transfer and Dispensing, require that equipment used to
dispense gasoline from underground storage tank be certified by the
California Air Resources Board (CARB). There, all subject GDFs are
required to upgrade to Phase II EVR equipment on April 1, 2009. |

regular meeting. At the end of the regular meeting agenda, an opportunity is
also provided for the public to speak on any subject within the
Stationary Source Committee's authority. Speakers may be limited to three
(3) minutes each.
