Two summaries are attached: Rules From Which Variances and Orders for Abatement Were Requested in 2005 and May 2005 Hearing Board Cases. It should be noted that 4 of the 29 cases heard in May 2005 were Group Order for Abatement petitions involving 72 gasoline dispensing facilities not in compliance with enhanced vapor recovery (EVR) requirements which became effective April 1, 2005. The total number of appeals filed during the period May 1 to May 31, 2005 is 1, and the total number of appeals filed during the period of January 1 to May 31, 2005 is 5. Attachments
