| Dr. Auerbach was appointed to the Hearing
Board in July 1992 as the Medical Member. He graduated
from UCLA in 1955 with a BA in Bacteriology and from USC in 1960 with an
M.D. He completed a residency in Pathology (Clinical and Anatomical)
with Board Certification in 1968.
In addition to private practice, Dr. Auerbach was also employed
by the State of California in their Mental Health facilities,
and was elected to President of the medical staff of Metropolitan State Hospital in 1990.
Dr. Auerbach's particular field of interest has been in aspects
of cancer-causing factors and causes of chronic illnesses related
to environmental agents.
