Home Weatherization Program in the City of Coachella:

The South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD), in conjunction with the City of Coachella, is pleased to announce the Home Weatherization Program for city residents.  The program is free of charge and will reduce energy use, and improve local air quality by funding energy upgrades of older homes, and qualifying apartment buildings.  This no-cost program includes a home evaluation, attic insulation up to R-38 and attic air sealing. 

To date, 350 homes have already participated in the Home Weatherization Program within the City of Coachella.  Program funding will allow for an additional 100 eligible homes to benefit from these energy upgrades.  For more information or to sign up you can contact Add Insulation at 877-667-8080 or SCAQMD at 1-855-396-3503.  Bilingual assistance is also available.
