Media Invited to Test Drive Hydrogen-Powered
Fuel Cell Vehicles
What:
The South Coast Air Quality Management District (AQMD) in collaboration
with the California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) will present the first
“State of the Fuel Cell” media event to share the latest information on the
status of fuel cell and clean vehicle technology.
In addition, AQMD will announce the launch of a major
new program demonstrating hydrogen-powered hybrid vehicles in five municipal
fleets across the Southland.
Immediately following the news conference, members of the media will have
the opportunity to test-drive several hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
Following the event, AQMD will exhibit hydrogen fuel cell cars and “Clean
Air Choice” vehicles in the California International Auto Show’s new Auto
Show Underground at the Anaheim Convention Center from October 5th-9th.
