| Nov. 8, 2007 Now that the
Southern California wildfires are nearly 100 percent contained, air quality
has returned to normal levels throughout most of the Southland. Individuals
in areas impacted by the Saddleback Valley fire in Orange County that
continue to smell smoke or see ash falling are urged to exercise caution and
avoid unnecessary outdoor activities in these areas.
For more information on how to avoid health impacts from smoke, see
News on AQMD’s website.
