The chart shows the average number of days exceeding the state and federal carbon monoxide standards for the years 1976-1995 for the eight stations with complete data throughout the period. Between 1976-78 and 1993-95, the three-year average number of exceedances decreased by 89% and 91% for the state and federal standards, respectively.
