Sulfur dioxide concentrations continued to remain well below the state and federal standards in 1995. The chart shows the average of the annual mean sulfur dioxide concentrations at five sites with complete data for the period 1976-1995. The average concentration at the five trend sites decreased 84% between 1976-1978 and 1993-1995.
