The meteorological data for the dispersion model application is
available to the public without charge. Click on the links below to access
the data. These files are compressed for downloading.
- Table 1 provides the list of file
names and corresponding city names.
- Table 2 provides the station ID, city
name, and monitoring station location in UTM and Longitude and
Latitude.
- Download the meteorological file
Select a file (i.e., Anaheim.asc) from Table 1.
Click on that file and assign a folder or location on your computer to
save the file.
The downloaded file will be a self-unloading compressed file (*.exe).
Clicking on this file will generate the *.asc file, which contains
the data.
- Each data file contains preprocessed meteorological data, formatted
into columns; one record per hour. These data can be used in the EPA
ISCST3 model as formatted data. Detailed data format can be found in the
EPA ISC3 User's Guide.
The EPA ISCST3 model can be accessed on EPA's website
http://www.epa.gov/scram001/
under the heading "Dispersion models," then by clicking the link to
"Preferred Recommended Models."
