A Business Case for Clean Air Strategies white paper discusses the costs and benefits to achieving clean air. While a socioeconomic analysis will be conducted for the 2016 AQMP, this paper provides an earlier forum to discuss the regional economy, balancing the need for growth, and how best to capture the clean air mandate holistically. The paper could discuss targeting mobile versus stationary sources and strategies that are most cost effective. Another theme involves the creation of “green jobs” as well as an opportunity to provide early ideas and control measure suggestions.
