South Coast AQMD's Governing Board and executive management establish policies and guidelines for the agency in its efforts to achieve clean air within the Southland and to promote environmentally responsible practices within the agency itself.  These policies range from regulatory development, to permitting and compliance requirements and procedures, to the direction of research efforts such as reducing emissions and promoting clean energy, to internal administrative functions.

Legal Requirements 

South Coast AQMD is legally required to post certain public information on our website, including our policy for distribution of tickets received from public and private entities and individuals, information about salary and compensation of our officers and employees, and a catalog of our enterprise data systems.
