When a significant air pollution event occurs within South Coast AQMD’s jurisdiction, an incident update can be found here. These updates provide a brief overview of each incident, and are not meant to take the place of an investigation. Updates will be posted as soon as information becomes available and facts are confirmed.  Not all events that occur in the region will be included here.  Please check back regularly during active incidents, as information will be updated as it becomes available.
