South Coast AQMD has created an employee volunteer service program, Working with Communities, in support of the agency’s commitment to improve local and regional air quality and make a difference in environmental justice communities throughout our four-county jurisdiction.
This partnership between South Coast AQMD and Habitat for Humanity International brings together our employees and community partners on volunteer service projects throughout the year. The projects include the installation of climate-resilient and energy-efficient home improvements and in some cases, new construction.
