South Coast Air Quality Management District (South Coast AQMD) Rule 1110.2 (PDF, 223kb) (f)(1)(G) requires the portable analyzer engine tests required by the Inspection and Monitoring Plan (I&M) requirements of subparagraph (f)(1)(D) be conducted by a person who has completed an appropriate South Coast AQMD-approved training program in the operation of portable analyzers and has received a certification issued by the South Coast AQMD. Rules 1146 and 1146.1 also require portable analyzer tests for boilers.

This half-day class provides the necessary training and certification necessary to conduct the portable analyzer tests required under Rules 1110.2 (PDF, 396kb), 1146 (PDF, 265kb) and 1146.1 (PDF, 246kb).

All attendees will receive a certification upon successful completion of the course.

• This half-day course is presented via Zoom Webinar from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
  

• The Zoom Cloud Meetings app must be installed on your device or Google Chrome must be used as the web browser in order to connect and attend the class.
  

• Class attendance instructions will be provided to attendees through the email address that was provided with the registration.  Attendance will be taken during the class.  Only those that registered, attended and turned in a completed exam will receive course certification.
  

• In order for the webinar to function properly, each participant must register individually and must use their own individual email address to access the webinar.
