The Why Healthy Air Matters (WHAM) Program is South Coast AQMD’s air quality education program for middle school and high school students.
Through the WHAM Program, South Coast AQMD hopes to increase awareness of air quality issues within the South Coast Basin and empower youth to drive positive change during a time when they are developing and forming their own habits.
The WHAM Program utilizes a curriculum that was developed by South Coast AQMD and is aligned with Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
