On March 7th, South Coast AQMD hosted its largest ever Technology Showcase at Diamond Bar headquarters featuring over 30 vendors and over 40 vehicles and equipment, including zero emission trucks, construction equipment, and buses. Other vehicle equipment was displayed, including South Coast AQMD’s mobile monitors which have been monitoring air quality at the burn scars and surrounding communities of the Eaton Fire and Palisades Fire. Many of these technologies were developed and demonstrated through various South Coast AQMD grant and incentive programs using leveraged funds through public-private partnerships. South Coast AQMD officials, fleet owners and operators, local and state officials, media representatives, and other stakeholders were able to experience the latest advancements in clean transportation first-hand by viewing prototype/commercial low-emission trucks, learning more about how these technologies are used in day-today operation and the future plans for these technologies. Information was also available on incentive funding for commercially available near-zero and zero-emission trucks, buses, and lawn and garden equipment.
