EPA Targeted Air Shed Grant

On March 4, 2011 the Board recognized revenue from the U.S. EPA Targeted Air Shed Grant to fund AQMD's "Localized Incentives Programs for the Reduction of Toxic Air Contaminants and Criteria Air Pollutants".  The program includes eight incentive subprograms to assist in implementation of two pilot studies in San Bernardino and Boyle Heights:

Auto Refinishing Spray Equipment

Boiler Efficiency Upgrades

Commercial Green Cleaners

Fireplace Gas Log Buy-Down

Vehicle Maintenance Brake Repair

Yard Equipment Exchange - Residential Cordless Lawnmower

Yard Equipment Exchange - Commercial Leaf Blower
