BACT Scientific Review Committee Meeting

July 22, 2020 | 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Remote Meeting has been scheduled to present and discuss proposed updates to the BACT Guidelines.

Pursuant to Governor Newsom's Executive  Orders N-25-20 (March 12, 2020) and N-29-20 (March 17, 2020), the BACT Scientific Review Committee meeting will only be conducted via video conferencing and by telephone.  Please follow the instructions below to join the webinar meeting remotely.  Teleconference locations do not need to be disclosed nor open to the public.

South Coast AQMD’s Governing Board has established a public comment period allowing any interested person to review and comment on South Coast AQMD BACT determinations that result in BACT requirements that are more stringent than previously imposed BACT. Any member of the public wishing to be notified of these BACT determinations may sign up in the following ways:

South Coast AQMD maintains for public access a BACT docket that includes:

  • Public comments in response to specific BACT determinations,

  • Public comments on the BACT Guidelines, and

  • South Coast AQMD responses to the comments.
