In order to efficiently process your request, please provide the following information in your email: (1) a request to be placed on the South Coast AQMD Rule 1466 Pre-Approved Monitor List, (2) a brief description of the monitor (and any specific accessories) that will be posted to the South Coast AQMD website, and (3) a list addressing all of the monitor requirements stated in Appendix 1 of Rule 1466. In addition, please provide all product specifications and documentation demonstrating all of the requirements in Appendix 1 of Rule 1466. The approval process includes a review by the South Coast AQMD’s Monitoring group and the Compliance and Enforcement Division. MCERTS (U.K. Environmental Agency Monitoring Certificate Scheme) performance standards for indicative ambient particulate monitors was used as a reference to develop the instrument requirements for Rule 1466 monitoring.
