The Rule 2305 – Warehouse Actions and Investments to Reduce Emissions (WAIRE) Program includes compliance and reporting requirements for warehouse owners and operators. This program regulates warehouse facilities to reduce emissions from the goods movement industry. The rule applies to warehouses with at least 100,000 square feet of indoor floor space in a single building. Below is a list of facilities that have been issued a Notice of Violation (NOV) by South Coast AQMD.
An NOV can be issued to inform a business that it is out of compliance with applicable South Coast AQMD rule requirements, permit conditions or legal requirements, or with applicable state or federal air pollution regulations.
In September 2023, South Coast AQMD issued a notice advising that the agency’s enforcement staff was preparing to take action against facility owners and operators that had failed to meet the deadlines for required actions.
