Public workshops and public consultation meetings are held prior to taking a proposed new or amended rule or other significant action to the Governing Board for consideration to obtain feedback from the affected businesses and the public.  It is South Coast AQMD’s policy to send a notice of any proposed new or amended rule workshop to each business that may be impacted by that rule and to every person who filed a written request to be notified of proposed regulatory action or requested to be placed on a rule notification list.
