As a kick-off to the State Department’s Air Quality Awareness Week, the Environment, Science, Technology, and Health section in Paris organized a conference in partnership with ATMO France and AirParif on the topic of air quality. The Embassy of the United States in France invited SCAQMD to participate as a speaker to provide an overview of air quality in Southern California and discuss the history of air quality in the Los Angeles Basin, current monitoring capabilities, and the use of advanced measurement technologies including low-cost sensors.
