Peer Review and Supporting Literature Review of Air Sensor Technology Performance Targets

A comprehensive literature review of recent published accounts of low cost sensor use and their reported performance measures was published in October 2018 by Williams et al. at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Office of Research and Development. This work focused on informing the development of performance requirements for air monitoring instruments that measure particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), and ozone (O3).
