South Coast AQMD’s AQ-SPEC is piloting a Library Program that will maintain and lend-out air quality sensors. Through this program, members of the public will be able to request and borrow one or multiple low-cost air quality sensors as well as materials to guide the use of these sensors and to support air quality and environmental education.
Initially this program is only open to educational audiences who will be using the sensors for educational and informational purposes, such as K-12 teachers and students. However, we hope to eventually expand the program and make it available to the broader public and community groups.
Come learn more about the new program and check out a few low-cost air quality sensors at the DTLA Mini Maker Faire.
When: Saturday, December 7, 2019 – 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Central Library · 630 W. 5th Street, Los Angeles, CA 90071
