California Energy Commission staff will conduct a public workshop for the Southern California Incentive Project, the second incentive project under the California Electric Vehicle Infrastructure Project (CALeVIP) funded by the Alternative and Renewable Fuel and Vehicle Technology Program. The commission is seeking input from stakeholders to inform the Southern California Incentive Project. Commissioners from the California Energy Commission may attend this workshop.

This meeting will provide a summary of how two new laws will reduce air pollution in our region: Assembly Bill (AB) 134 provides funding to replace older heavy-duty vehicles, equipment. AB 617 is a new exciting effort which will bring opportunities to collaborate with disadvantaged communities to improve air quality.
