South Coast AQMD has scheduled a hybrid Special Governing Board meeting with representatives from the U.S. EPA and the California Air Resources Board (CARB) to discuss issues pertaining to the 2022 Air Quality Management Plan (AQMP),strategies for meeting attainment deadlines and the need for further local, state, and federal action. Other items include discussions and presentations on diversity, equity and inclusion, Assembly Bill 617 (AB 617) efforts, the San Bernardino County Employee Retirement Association (SBCERA) retirement program, including representatives from SBCERA, and South Coast AQMD’s air quality sensor toolkit.
