PROGRAM UPDATES:

 

AB 617 Private School Air Filtration Program 

The AB 617 Private School Air Filtration Program provides incentive funds for air filtration systems in private K-12 schools and private daycare facilities within AB 617 Communities. These systems can reduce children's exposure to Diesel Particulate Matter and other harmful air pollutants. Program funding is from Supplemental Environmental Projects (SEPs), community-based projects that result from settlements.

AB 617 Public School Air Filtration Program

The AB 617 Public School Air Filtration Program reduces exposure to harmful air pollutants in public schools within AB 617 Communities. Up to $13.7 million from the Community Air Protection (CAP) funds is available to install and/or maintain air filtration systems at public schools within AB 617 Communities. South Coast AQMD encourages eligible public schools, school districts, and their vendors to apply for funding under this program.

AB 617 Residential Air Filtration Program

The Residential Air Filtration Program aims to reduce residential exposure to particulate matter (PM) in participating AB 617 Communities. Residents within these communities are eligible for portable air filtration units and replacement filters.
