Private School Air Filtration Incentives

Up to $1.1 million in incentive funds are available for installing and maintaining air filtration systems at private K-12 schools and private daycare facilities, including preschools located within designated AB 617 community boundaries. Air filtration projects will reduce children’s exposure to criteria, toxic pollutants, and particulate matter in AB 617 communities. Funding for this incentive opportunity results from the Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) Policy with the California Air Resources Board, where community-based projects are funded from settlements received from enforcement actions.
