Vaisala - AQT530

General Description

The Vaisala Air Quality Transmitter AQT530 provides real-time measurements of ozone (O3; 5-2000 ppb), nitrogen monoxide (NO; 5-2000 ppb), nitrogen dioxide (NO2; 5-2000 ppb), carbon monoxide (CO; 10-10,000 ppb), and particulate matter smaller than 2.5 micrometers (PM2.5; 0-1000 µg/m3) and 10 micrometers (PM10; 0-2500 µg/m3), depending on the product configuration. The Vaisala AQT530 is a modular solution that can be configured to monitor different choices of air pollutants: 1) O3, NO, NO2, and CO, 2) O3, NO, NO2, CO, PM2.5, and PM10, 3) NO2, PM2.5, and PM10, or 4) only PM2.5 and PM10. The measurement data is available locally via a serial interface or sent wirelessly to a web-based database.

Principle of Operation

Gas measurements are based on a proprietary electrochemical sensor technology. Particle measurements are conducted with a proprietary laser particulate counter (not tested). A Vaisala HMP110 sensor is used for temperature and relatively humidity measurements.
